Students, please note that the BBP will be closed on May 21st, May 25th, June 19th, and July 3rd.

BBP Finals Week Hours! We will be closed on Friday, May 8th for graduation. Summer hours begin May 11th. Be on the lookout for the summer schedule!

If you're staying on UK's campus during Spring Break, the Big Blue Pantry will be open and operating on a reduced schedule. We will return to regular hours on Monday, March 23rd!

Please note that we will close for the winter on Thursday, December 18th and will reopen on Monday, January 5th, 2026. Have a wonderful break!

We have recently received many inquiries about our services, due to the anticipated cuts to SNAP. For clarification, The Big Blue Pantry is a resource for current UK students only. Unfortunately, we are not equipped to serve the general public in Lexington.

There are numerous community and faith-based organizations who operate food pantries in the Lexington area. A searchable list and a map of those locations can be found at https://www.godspantry.org. Simply enter your zip code to find the nearest partner organization.
