On behalf of our Secretariat, Directors, conference staff, and school, it is our pleasure to cordially invite you to the Lexington High School United Nations Conference. LexMUN Following our successes at major high school conferences such as Yale and Dartmouth, where we won Best Small Delegation, we decided to host our own conference. Our team looks forward to hostin

g hundreds of delegates from across New England this spring, and engaging them in debate and diplomacy to address the challenges that face our world. In creating LexMUN, the Secretariat has combined some of the best elements from all varieties of Model UN conferences. Featuring five diverse and engaging committees, ranging from an intimate crisis committee to a large, all-encompassing General Assembly, LexMUN is sure to provide delegates with an intellectually stimulating experience. LexMUN committees will focus on some of the most pressing issues facing the world today and in the future. Through means of cooperation and collaboration, delegates will develop innovative solutions to these global issues. Since its inception in 2002, Lexington’s Model UN club has come quite a long way. What started out as a small, six-person team has expanded to accommodate over sixty consistent, confident delegates who have all contributed to this club’s growth. Congratulations to the LexMUN team who rolled through Brown collecting a total of 3 best dels, 2 outstanding dels, and one honorable del.

Put together along with a strong delegation of 10 people, we were able to walk away with Outstanding Small Delegation.

Next stop NAIMUN!

The LexMUN team is excited to announce that registration for Lexington High School’s third annual Model UN conference is now open to all delegates. Registration can be found under the “Registration” section on the website or http://lexmun.com/registration-2/.

In addition, this year LexMUN will host its first ever committee designed for middle school students. This committee will be the UNHCR. If you have any students or know of any schools who would be interested in sending delegates, please let them know!

The date of the conference is Saturday, February 3rd, 2018. Committees can be found on the website under the "Committees" tab. Topic summaries have been posted and can be viewed on the website. Abstracts will be posted late November.

The cost for the conference will be $25 per delegate on top of a $30 delegation fee. This fee includes breakfast and lunch for all delegates and moderators.

Please complete the registration form below and send in a $30 delegation fee to reserve a place at the conference. We will email all advisors with delegate roles and further information once registration is complete.

We are pleased to announce that the third annual Lexington Model United Nations Conference (LexMUN) will be taking place on Saturday, February 3, 2018. The Secretariat is planning on having 5 committees, ranging from GA's to crisises. Registration should open within the next few weeks.
