Today, we welcomed our new Kindergarten Stallions for Kindergarten Kickoff! During Kickoff week, our newest Stallions will learn more about our school, the Stallion Way, the daily structures of kindergarten, and of course- have the best time playing, making new friends, and spending time with our amazing teachers! We can’t wait to watch them thrive in Kindergarten this year!

In addition to getting to meet our newest Stallions, the bright spot of today has also been watching our 5th grade house leaders welcome our kindergarteners and help them as they acclimate to our school. We are so proud of their kindness and leadership!

Families will be notified of their child's class placement via email/Parent Square from your child's teacher on July 31st!

Bittersweet news for our Stonewall family! 💙 After an incredible 22 years at Stonewall Elementary—and a phenomenal 32 years of service in our district—our beloved counselor, Veronica Covington, is officially retiring! 🎉

Mrs. Covington has brought so much heart to our school, guiding countless students, supporting our families, and always offering a listening ear and a warm smile. It is truly hard to imagine Stonewall without her, but we are so incredibly grateful for the decades of love, wisdom, and dedication she has poured into our community.

Please join us in thanking Mrs. Covington for her legendary career and wishing her the happiest, most well-deserved retirement! ✨She's looking forward to spending time with her husband, sons, and grandson!

We spent the last 3 days of the school year soaking up our final moments and memories with our Stallions. From our Good-Faith- Effort Foam party to 5th grade promotion, Field Day with some awesome volunteers and community partners, and our final 5th grade walk, we wrapped up a magical and joy-filled school year with the most amazing kids. Thank you to our families for sharing your students with us each and every day and for your continued support! We will miss our Stallions, but we hope everyone has a great summer!
