The F.U.S.E. Program; Preschool and Summer Camp Our mission is to nurture and support the social and emotional growth of all children.

The F.U.S.E Program , Foundations for Understanding Social Engagement, is a program for children and adolescents who are experiencing challenges in social problem solving skills at home, at school or in the community. Many children, for a variety of reasons, lack necessary foundational skills for social problem solving. Without these skills it is difficult for a child to feel confident and engage successfully with peers in a meaningful reciprocal manner.

🌟 SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT F.U.S.E. 🌟
Are you a motivated college student interested in psychology, education, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, social work, child development, special education, or marketing?
F.U.S.E. (Foundations for Understanding Social Engagement) is seeking passionate and enthusiastic interns to join our team this summer at our nonprofit therapeutic school serving neurodiverse children.
We are currently seeking:
2 Therapeutic Education Interns
(1 in Lexington, MA and 1 in Norwood, MA)
Work directly alongside our experienced educators and clinicians in our summer therapeutic program serving neurodiverse preschool through 1st-grade children.
Interns will have opportunities to:
✔ Assist teachers in small-group therapeutic classrooms
✔ Learn about neurodiversity-affirming practices
✔ Observe speech and occupational therapy sessions
✔ Participate in classroom-based social-emotional supports
✔ Shadow diagnostic assessments and clinical observations
✔ Gain hands-on experience working with autistic and other neurodiverse children
1 Social Media & Marketing Intern
(Flexible, primarily remote)
Perfect for students interested in communications, marketing, public relations, graphic design, nonprofit leadership, or digital media.
Responsibilities may include:
✔ Social media content creation
✔ Website updates and design
✔ Photography and storytelling
✔ Marketing campaigns and outreach
✔ Supporting fundraising and community awareness initiatives
