🌎🐴 Exploring Habitats in 2nd Grade! 🐴🌎

Our 2nd graders have been busy learning all about habitats around the world, and today they brought their learning to life by creating their very own habitat dioramas! 🌳🌊🏜️❄️

Just look at this creativity! 🤩 We love seeing our students take what they’ve learned and turn it into something they can build, create, and share.

And we have to brag on their writing, too! The quality of writing coming from our 2nd graders is so impressive. These Stallions are putting their knowledge into words and showing just how much they’ve learned! ✏️📚

Way to go, 2nd Grade! ❤️🐴

🍂❤️ Community Partners Make a Difference! ❤️🍂

We had a sweet surprise today from one of our longtime community partners, Mission Church! They stopped by with some amazing fall treats for each of our staff, but their support of Squires goes far beyond today’s goodies. 🍁🍪

Over the years, Mission Church has shown up for our Stallions again and again. They have volunteered at our Community Pop-Up, hosted a sock and underwear drive for our Family Resource Center, participated in countless family nights, served on our FRC Advisory Council, and even hosted a summer reading program that provided transportation and dinner for participating students. Members have also spent time in our classrooms, including reading to students for Veterans Day. 📚❤️

And we know that list doesn’t begin to capture all the ways they have supported Squires through the years!

We are incredibly grateful for community partners who don’t just say they support our school — they consistently show up for our students, families, and staff.

Thank you, Mission Church, for being such an important part of the Squires family! ❤️🐴

☕🐴 **Our Final Mugging... and It’s a Good One!** 🐴☕

Our third and final mug from last year’s Squires rockstars has officially been passed! ❤️

Mr. Bryce, one of the most loved members of our Squires family, passed his mug along to Mrs. Cathy Harris, one of our wonderful new staff members!

Last year, Mr. Bryce was selected by his fellow staff members as one of three Squires rockstars who consistently go above and beyond. Anyone who knows Mr. Bryce knows exactly why. He brings an incredible and unique combination of energy, steadiness, and calm to Squires every single day. He is someone our students and staff can always count on. ❤️

And those are many of the same qualities he sees in Mrs. Harris! She joined Squires this year with years of experience and immediately jumped right in. Her positive energy, confidence, willingness to help, and amazing spirit have already made such an impact on our students and our school.

Congratulations, Mrs. Harris! ☕✨ We are so thankful you found your way to Squires, and we are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our Stallion family.

❤️🐴 A Special Night at Squires! 🐴❤️

Our halls were filled with some very special guests last night for Grandparents’ Night! We were so excited to welcome everyone and show off our amazing students, classrooms, teachers, and all the things that make Squires such a special place. 📚✨

We know it takes a village to help our Stallions grow, and we are incredibly grateful for the grandparents, family members, and other special adults who love, encourage, support, and cheer on our students every day. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who spent the evening with us. We loved sharing our Squires home with you! 🐴❤️

🛒🐴 Our Swag Shop Just Got Even Better! 🐴🛒

A HUGE thank you to Monkey Joe’s for coming through in a big way for our Stallions! ❤️ Their generous donation to our Stallion Swag Shop means there will be some extra-special goodies waiting for our students when it's time to shop on September 25th! 🎉

Our students work hard to earn e-Bucks by being Safe, Engaged, and Successful, and we love giving them a chance to spend those hard-earned e-Bucks on something fun!

So, Stallions… keep making great choices, keep earning those e-Bucks, and get ready to SHOP! 💵🛍️🐴

☕🐴 The Mugging Continues... 🐴☕

Another Squires staff member has officially been MUGGED! ❤️

Ms. Vannoy passed along her mug to Mrs. Kerri Best, Kindergarten Teacher, recognizing her for the incredible job she is doing with our youngest Stallions!

Mrs. Best is in her second year at Squires, but she brought a wealth of teaching experience with her from other Fayette County schools — and even Australia! She has quickly become such an important part of our Squires family, bringing experience, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of heart to her classroom each day. ❤️

And just like our first mugging, this recognition means something special. At the end of last school year, Ms. Vannoy was selected by her fellow staff members as one of three employees who consistently go above and beyond for Squires. Now she gets to recognize someone she sees doing the same. ☕✨

Congratulations, Mrs. Best! We are so thankful you chose to make Squires your home. Our little Stallions are lucky to have you! ❤️🐴
