Squires Elementary School, opened in August 1988, was recognized as a Pacesetter school by the Kentucky Department of Education following the release of the KIRIS scores for the second biennium. The majority of the students live within walking distance making it possible for the school to sponsor several after school programs for its students. Last day of school is in the books, we celebrated the amazing achievements of our 5th graders and also said a big thank you to Ms Wendy from our cafeteria as she starts her retirement. We are so grateful for all the lunches she has served.

An incredible day of celebration at Squires today. It started with our Senior Grad Walk, cheering on our former Stallions as they start their new life adventures, and continued with our Kindergarten moving up program, honoring the growth and achievements of some of our younger stallions.

The sun shone bright over Squires Elementary today! Our annual Squires Cup was a great success!
Shout out to Mr Tate for organizing us all and also to our amazing PTA who are always there to support us, today providing a much needed 'Hydration Station' and popsicles!

Attention Squires Alumni - if you are a high school senior this year, we would love to celebrate you! Please come and walk the halls of your elementary school as you reminisce before moving onto bigger things.
