Mental health challenges don’t always look like sadness. Common signs in men can include:
• Irritability
• Withdrawal
• Fatigue
• Trouble sleeping
• Anger
• Loss of motivation
• Increased alcohol or substance use
Recognizing the signs early can help prevent deeper struggles. You don’t have to wait until things get worse to ask for help. Whether you’re just starting to feel concerned or already struggling, support is available. Early action can make a big difference.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can say is:
“How are you really doing?”
It starts with a conversation. A simple check-in can help someone feel seen, heard, and supported. Many people carry emotional pain silently, and knowing someone cares can make all the difference.
