Lexington Child Development Center

Lexington Child Development Center We are a preschool and childcare center established as a community outreach of Lexington Church of the Cross. The preschool runs from 9:00-11:30 each morning.

Lexington Child Development Center provides a safe and caring environment, a professional staff, and a curriculum that allows every child to learn and develop in their own unique way. We strive to love, care and develop all our children. Each day is planned with a balance of quiet and active experiences designed to help each child mature socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. The pr

eschool curriculum follows the standards established by the State Department of Education for preschool education. Children may attend the preschool two, three or five mornings a week. Childcare runs Monday thru Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Children may attend childcare a minimum of two days a week or as many as five. All children that are enrolled in childcare transition to a preschool class that best suits them at 8:50a.m. The center operates for approximately 9 ½ months a year, closing for the summer. We also close for Christmas and Spring break.

Letters have been mailed to all registered families. Please contact the office with any questions or if you have not received yours by the end of the week. Although we do not wish to rush summer, we are getting SO EXCITED for the coming school year here at LCDC!
