Since 1913, SPPS has provided a quality Catholic school education that is second to none. SPPS was named a Blue Ribbon School, placing it in the top 10% of the nation based on test scores. This top honor was achieved because of SPPS’ long-term commitment to retaining the highest quality of teachers in addition to smaller class sizes (ratio is 19:1). Located in the heart of downtown Lexington, SPPS provides an array of opportunities for students to participate in community events and be exposed to the arts. Located within walking distance is the Lexington Children’s Theater, Opera House, Living Arts & Science Center, Lexington Public Library, Gratz Park and much more. The proximity to these organizations is a perfect complement to the expanded arts program offered at SPPS which includes band, chorus, visual arts and drama. SPPS draws students from six feeder parishes in and outside of Lexington. The feeder parishes include St. Paul’s, St. Peter Claver, Holy Spirit Parish, Pax Christi and St. Luke’s. The diversity of the student population is something of which SPPS is extremely proud. Come see why SPPS has been the choice of education for families since 1913.
