To inspire and elevate healthy lifestyle habits among our youth, the Clinton County Cooperative Extension Service Family and Consumer Sciences Agent, alongside the Nutrition Education Assistant, joined forces with nine dedicated administrators and teachers from the Clinton County School District. Together, they offered the transformative "Recipes for Life" program, benefiting 115 eager fifth-grade students. The results were remarkable: every student evaluation reflected a significant boost in knowledge about handwashing👏, food safety🥩, and kitchen safety🍽️. One passionate teacher remarked, "Our kids desperately need life skills programs like this." Let's empower our youth with the essential skills they need for a brighter, healthier future!
