Tuesday, May 22, Buffalo Creek Recognized Excellence among all of our students for this academic year. We also spent time honoring and commemorating the last six faithful years that BCBS has poured into dozens of young men throughout Rockbridge County. BCBS provided adventure with purpose for young men... pouring into them academically, physically and spiritually. BCBS will cease operations as of tomorrow and suspended enrollment for next Academic Year... but we are still fervently praying for the Lord's discernment on the next chapter. It is still not too late to RSVP for tomorrow's "Looking Back Over the Years" as we wind down BCBS Operations. What a great six years it has been.

Several BCBS students are participating in a Bike Ride along the C&O Trail this week. In five days, students will bike nearly 100 miles to Washington D.C. from Williamsport, MD. Here is Day 2!

Common Arts afternoon was spent biking several miles of the Chessie Trail today as the boys are preparing mentally and physically for the Spring Challenge, 1-5 May where they expect to bike over 100 miles along the C&O Canal from Maryland to Washington D.C. The boys will receive a mile-by-mile tour of the Potomac River waterway. They will learn history along the route and will spend an afternoon at the National Mall visiting, the WWII memorial and the Lincoln Memorial (to name a few). Please keep these boy in your prayer as we believe such challenges equip young men of virtue and valor to impact the culture for CHRIST!

Today, the boys participated in water sampling of the natural spring at Steeles Fort Property with two members from the Virginia Dept of Environmental Quality! We love the hands on experiences these young men receive at BCBS!

On Monday, 17 April, students from BCBS visited the Rockbridge Area Relief Association that provides local families in need with housing, utility and food support. Afterwards, they visited the Kvach Farm where the helped to plant cabbage!

RARA & Kvach Farm Students from Buffalo Creek Boys School (BCBS) attended Rockbridge Area Relief Assoc. and toured the facility where local people in need can shop for groceries such as produce and grains. Afterward, they visited the Kvach Farm where they planted cabbage.

A special guest from Virginia Department of Environmental Quality provided an exceptional instruction of insect identification Wednesday, 12 April. THIS Wednesday, they will further their studies, sampling water at Steeles Fort!
