As president of the Class of 2029, Donte Reed is guiding his classmates through a new systems-based curriculum while fostering communication, empathy, and collaboration during a time of transition. Grounded in values shaped by his upbringing in southeastern Kentucky, Reed views leadership as service — advocating for peers, building understanding, and ensuring every voice is heard.
His commitment extends beyond the classroom. From providing preventive care in Greenup County through SEAL KY to organizing oral health education outreach in Rockcastle County, Reed is helping expand access to care while inspiring the next generation to see possibilities in healthcare.
