"After graduating from W&L, I spent nearly a year with the Fulbright program in Berlin, Germany. I wrote stories for various publications, received NATO briefings and took classes at Freie Universität Berlin. While in Berlin, I traveled around the EU and improved my German skills. It was such a blessing to research the city's start up scene and cover lawmakers in the Bundestag. This summer I completed a year-long news rotation and began my permanent job at Bloomberg where I cover biotechs and the health care industry. I've enjoyed exploring New York City's parks and award-winning food scene...still on the search for the best tiramisu. W&L played a pivotal role in my ability to succeed in Berlin and now New York. I am incredibly thankful for the support of professors in Reid Hall and the German department in honing my news sense and hunger to understand news through an international lens."

Veterans Day parade tomorrow! 🇺🇸

Finally starting to feel like fall in Lex!🍂🍂

The Women's soccer team beat Bridgwater last night in a 3-2 overtime win to advance to the ODAC Finals. They will host Virginia Wesleyan at home on Watt field this Saturday.
The Men's soccer team beat Hampden-Sydney last night 2-0 and will travel to Lynchburg for the ODAC Final this Saturday. Game times are TBD. Come out and support the Generals this weekend!!
