Celebrating the LMS Class of 2026! 🎓

Last week, we proudly celebrated our seven LMS graduates as they completed their Montessori journey in our Middle School program.

We were honored to welcome guest speaker Liam Dermady, an LMS alum and current United Airlines pilot, who shared reflections and encouragement with our graduates. We also heard from each graduate as they looked back on their time at LMS and shared their hopes for the future.

As they begin their next chapters at new schools, we wish them every success and happiness. We look forward to welcoming them back to campus for visits in the years ahead.

Lower Elementary's final week of school was filled with games, laughter, celebration, courage, and a few bittersweet goodbyes as we watched students move up and prepare for new adventures.

From Field Day fun and ice cream treats to our final work days, birthday appreciations, and the Elder Bridge Ceremony, the week was full of meaningful moments. We wrapped it all up with games, homemade guacamole, and our Moving Up Ceremony, celebrating the growth and accomplishments of every student.

The toddlers who are moving up to Children's House in the fall had the chance to visit our Children's House classrooms over the past two weeks! Thanks to the hard work of our toddler teaching team, they were ready! Toddlers entered the CH classrooms with enthusiasm and wonder, engaging with an array of materials and receiving guidance from older peers.

Our school counselor, Emma, has been spending time in every level supporting students with important conversations about mental health and well-being. ✨

From reading books about feelings in Toddlers and Children’s House to discussing conflict resolution, positive self-talk, flexible thinking, healthy friendships, boundaries, and communication in the Elementary levels, students are building strong social-emotional skills at every age.

Upper Elementary Seniors and Middle School students also welcomed a speaker from Minding Your Mind for the program Changing Minds: Stories Over Stigma, where young adults shared personal experiences and helped reduce stigma around mental health.

We are grateful for Emma’s thoughtful work supporting our students’ growth, resilience, and sense of community. 🌿
