OUT OF BUSINESS: I wore this uniform set up 15 years ago when I opened LEXJJ and now here again on my last day as a gym owner. Over the years I’ve shared the mat with my instructor Mickey Swafford, Eddie Camden, Pedro Sauer, Pedro’s incredibly good Utah Black Belts, Chad Pittman, Mike Diaz, Jeff Curran, Rorion, Rickson, Royce, Royler, Roger, Ryron Gracie, Pedro Valente, and more. Not to mention all my students! We produced 8 Black Belts and I don’t know how many Blue belts. It’s a lot! I’m proud of what I’ve done. We did it right. We sparred hard and often. I’m stage left feeling thankful to have taken a turn at training good dudes in such a great system of fighting. -Now it’s someone’s else’s turn! I do want to thank Mickey Swafford for everything he’s done for me. He knows the rest. NOW… here’s what we’re doing.
Moving forward, we will be gathering at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Lexington with John Carter and his team, who have warmly welcomed us into their Jiu-Jitsu family.
