Sport and Exercise Psychology alum, Samantha Leavens, is a member of the mental performance staff with the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL. She is featured in the attached article. Samantha is one of few female mental performance consultants to serve in this role for the NHL, and she is representing UK very well!

UK honors 2026 Outstanding Teaching Award winners The University of Kentucky recently recognized exceptional faculty and graduate teaching assistants with Outstanding Teaching Awards during the 2026 UK Faculty Awards Ceremony April 30.

Congrats to student, Colton Dalton, who presented his poster at the Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars today! He was mentored by Dr. McMullen in his honors thesis project entitled, "Impact of Adolescent Sexual Education on College Students' Sexual Health Knowledge and Behaviors".
