Founded in Lexington in 2015, the Bluegrass Ceili Academy brings more than a decade of Irish dance teaching experience and ceili expertise to Central Kentucky. Whether you’re looking for someone to teach Irish social dances at your event, searching for a fun way to exercise or wanting to take your dance experience to the next level, the Bluegrass Ceili Academy is the answer. Bluegrass Ceili Academy is certified under An Coimisuin le Rinci Gaelacha, the Irish Dancers Teachers Association of Mid-America and is a member of the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America Southern Region. The Bluegrass Ceili family is sending the biggest and best wishes to dancer Ollie as he heads north for the school year. Ollie will be attending the Interlochen Center for the Arts, a highly competitive high school program for the next generation of performing artists and arts professionals. For 10 years, Ollie’s been a presence onstage with us and while we’re so excited for his next chapter, we’re sure going to miss having him in classes. One lesson he takes with him:
