Tonight, the University of Kentucky came part of a handful of schools across the nation that approved a completely student funded photovoltaic solar installation on campus by approving our proposal for a 4kW system in the engineering quad! Thanks to the UK Student Sustainability Council and energy club members Jessica, Luke and Ben for all your hard work!!!

The UK Energy Club presents their final speaker of the semester:

The Power and Energy Institute of Kentucky presents David Samford will on “Monopolies and Regulators – The Retail Pricing of Electricity” at 3:00pm in 323 RMB (Robotics and Manufacturing Building).

Bluegrass PRIDE is holding an energy summer camp from June 11th-15th, 9am-4pm at the Arboretum. They will be educating local youths on varying types of energy and could use some UK students to help out as volunteers, full days or partial days.
