We hope that everyone is staying safe and warm during this winter weather. The Glendover community is strong and supports each other. Our staff is making Thanksgiving breakfast food bags for students in need over Thanksgiving Break. Second grade teachers are collecting donations of individual cereal pouches. In 2nd grade, students have been learning about the voting process. We have held two elections in our classroom.

Election 1
🗳️ on the ballot:
sugar cookies
vs.
chocolate chip cookies
Sugar cookies won! It was a tight race at first. The students enjoyed eating the winning cookie.

Election 2
🗳️ on the ballot:
pajama day
vs.
extra recess
Extra recess won! The students will enjoy their extra recess on Friday!

This was so fun!
