Welcome to the University of Kentucky's Department of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education!

Our mission is to engage in scholarship, teaching, and service that is innovative and contributes to improving the quality of P20 science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education in the Commonwealth, the nation, and the world. We offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in STEM Education; the first department in the country to do so! We also conduct extensive research and provide outreach and service to the school districts to help improve the quality of P20 STEM Education.
