Glendover Elementary PTA

Calling all kindergarten families! Join us on the playground for popsicles, playtime, and a chance to meet classmates before the first day of school. The PTA will have color-coded name tags to help children find classmates and make new friends to ease those first-day jitters.

The Glendover PTA is excited to welcome our teachers and staff back with breakfast on Monday morning!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! We are getting excited to welcome everyone back for another fantastic school year. As we get closer to the first day of school, I wanted to share a few important dates and reminders.

📚 Classroom Placements
Classroom placement emails will be sent to families on Monday, August 3.

🏫 Open House – Thursday, August 6
Sensory-Friendly Open House: 5:00–5:30 p.m.
General Open House: 5:30–7:00 p.m.

Open House is a wonderful opportunity to:
Drop off school supplies
Meet your teacher
Reconnect with classmates and friends
Join the PTA!

💙 Celebrating 70 Years of Glendover!
Stop by the PTA table during Open House to purchase our limited-edition, vintage-inspired 70th Anniversary T-shirt for $15 (cash or card accepted). We will have a limited quantity available that evening.

We will also be selling any 2025/26 yearbooks that we have in stock. The cost is $16.

Joining the PTA is a great way to stay informed about school events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support our amazing Glendover community. Becoming a member does not commit you to volunteering—it simply helps you stay connected!

The membership form asks for your child's homeroom teacher. If you're joining before classroom placements are released on August 3, you may simply leave that field blank.

🎨 Volunteer Opportunity – Monday August 3, 12:30 p.m
We're looking for a few helping hands to freshen up the school office! Lauren Hill will be leading a group to paint the office, and all supplies will be provided.

🌸Spring Carnival!🌸
