The Lexington Education Advancement Foundation is pleased to honor Sue Vincent with the Patriot Award and induction into the "Lexington Legends" for her many ongoing contributions to Lexington Schools. This ceremony and honor will take place this Thursday between the JV and Varsity volleyball contests. The JV game against Cornerstone Christian will start at 5:30 PM with the LEAF ceremony to follow before the Varsity contest. Please come out and help us show our Minutemen appreciation and honor “Ms. Sue."

We are excited to share that Lexington CUSD7 has received a grant from the Illinois Retired Teachers Association Foundation (IRTAF) to expand hands-on STEM learning for our students! Grant funds will purchase Cubelets robotics kits and math lockboxes, giving students more opportunities to build, experiment, solve puzzles, collaborate, and strengthen critical-thinking skills during SMART Summer Camp and throughout the school year. Thank you, IRTAF, for investing in our students and helping us make learning hands-on, engaging, and fun! 🤖🔐💜

We are thrilled to kick off the football season this Friday at 7:00 PM as our team takes on Leroy! We know how passionate and dedicated our fan base is, and your energy and support mean everything to our players, coaches, and staff.

To ensure a great experience for everyone and to help us protect our facilities, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following guidelines for Friday's game:

Parking & Spot Reservations: Please refrain from reserving spots or parking early at the field until Friday morning. Due to the recent heavy rains, our grounds crew needs as much time as possible to mow, perform maintenance, and prepare the field. Heading down there earlier than Friday will only create issues and possible damage to our parks and area around our field.

Emergency Vehicle Access: Please do not move or alter any ropes or barricades that are set up around the perimeter. These areas are designated for emergency vehicles and for everyone's safety.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support. We can't wait to see the stands filled and hear your loud cheers this Friday night!

The wait is almost over! Tomorrow morning, our hallways and classrooms will be filled with bright smiles, new school supplies, and endless possibilities.

Here are a few quick tips to help tomorrow go smoothly:

Set those alarms early to allow plenty of time for breakfast and travel. As a reminder, Main Street is closed for the remainder of this week for the Carnival!

Please watch for our school buses, bike riders, and pedestrians—let's keep our roads safe for all our students.

Double-check backpacks for supplies, forms, and any required gear.
