This!! So many "trainers" forget to train the horse to stand for the farrier. Then owners want the farrier to be calm and not be mean and be patient and actually train the horse for them. For free. Younger farriers, and I think the older fairies will back me up on this, you will get old one day. And the more you have to fight and get hurt when you're younger the more it hurts when you get older. Time to change the industry.

This was a heart bar shoe made by Iron Works. This shoe took less than 20 minutes to modify. That's including three welding heats. It was Forge welded. The horse came to us 3/5 lame. After applying the shoe, he walked off 1/5.
