The PTSA is hosting a short, informal general membership meeting tomorrow night at 5:30 pm at the RCHS auditorium. As members, you have the opportunity to voice your opinions, ideas, or concerns. We will be discussing Homecoming snacks, teacher hospitality for the next work day, membership, and the Food for Thought program.
If you have an interest in helping out in any capacity, we would love to hear from you. Or just come and see what the PTSA is doing for RCHS.

Setup during freshman orientation to let everyone know that the PTSA is here for our students and school.
There are two ways for families to help out the PTSA: 1. Becoming a member for $9. We use funds to provide supplies and appreciation for teachers and staff, help fund our two $500 senior scholarships, help fund the after prom party, and more.
2. Volunteer! We have volunteer options that range from providing some snacks to helping with the After Prom party.
Becoming a member does not mean you have to do anything. But we hope you can pitch in when available. Together we can make RCHS even stronger.

We had a great turnout for the After Prom Party. A lot of happy juniors and seniors went home with door prizes, food, and good memories. Thank you to our community businesses and organizations who sponsored this event. We couldn't have done it without community support for our students.

After Prom party will get the fun started at 10:30 pm. Don't forget to bring a change of casual clothes and shoes. Riding the mechanical bull in a dress is very impractical!

After Prom is free to all juniors and seniors in good standing. 10:30 pm Saturday - 2 am Sunday at Maury River Middle School.

Wildcat inspiration awards are tomorrow night. The reception is by invitation at the Seclusion event facility.
Congratulations to all the teachers and educators who were nominated by seniors. It is always rewarding to hear how an educator has helped to shape the lives of the students. All the teachers who were nominated won if someone thought enough to fill out the form and give them a shout out.

This Wednesday is our last general membership meeting of the school year. The meeting will take place in the auditorium at 5:30, just before the NHS Induction ceremony at 6 pm.
Several of our biggest initiatives happen in April and May. The Wildcat Inspiration awards, Senior Scholarships, and the After Prom Party. We need your help to make these happen. Please come out for 30 minutes and see where you might help RCHS.

Envirothon is a national competition for high school students interested in natural resources, ecology and the outdoors. Boxerwood is sponsoring a RCHS team this year and needs a minimum of 5 students to qualify for competition.
Come to an informal meeting on Thursday, February 2nd from 4-5:30 to learn all about it. This is fun and educational and looks great on a college application!
