This year, our theme is simple: Together, We Are Lex.
Those words are more than just a slogan. They are a reminder of who we are as a school district and as a community.
Lexington has always been a place where people care deeply about their schools. We have outstanding students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and a community that takes great pride in Lexington. And while we know there will be challenges ahead, I believe our greatest strength is—and always has been—the people who make up this district.
As we move forward, I hope we continue to listen to one another, treat each other with kindness and respect, and remember that even when we may not always agree, we share something very important: we all want what is best for our students.
As superintendent, I am incredibly proud to have the opportunity to serve this district and community. Lexington has been an important part of my life for many years, and I know firsthand what a special place it is.
As we open the doors to another school year, my hope is that we continue to come together—not just as a school district, but as a community.
Because every student matters. Every staff member matters. Every family matters. And each of us has a role in what comes next.
Together, we support one another.
Together, we serve our students.
Together, we move Lexington forward.
