we came across this letter from Charles Lamb to Charles Ryle and it got us thinking, what other fine and chummy Charleses could we uncover from the bonny backlit past? well, Cats, we got to digging: and what a bounty we discovered! yes, feast all Charlesly upon them! 🍇 here's Charles Wilson, frowning and not, and Charles Hellman by the window, and utopian dreamer Charles Fourier, and Charles Kerr III an infant, and a pen drawing of Charles Dickens, which made us ponder, could we have some more? 🪙 and the answer is yes! there are thousands of Charleses, Chucks, Charlies, and Carls to uncover, and Roberts and Bobs, and Beths and Bettys, Moniques, Meis, and Sandys, the whole of teeming yesterdays full, full to teeming, peopled, yes, the peopled past, peopled with them all! 😻
