What an inspiring six weeks at Keys for Kids!
We’ve just wrapped up our inaugural Composer Research & Discovery Project, our brand‑new pilot course designed to deepen our students’ musicianship through creativity, curiosity, and hands‑on exploration.
We focused on Ludwig van Beethoven, and the results were extraordinary. Over 150 students, ages 4–18, researched Beethoven’s life, exploring his musical style, creating original artwork, and presenting their findings alongside live performances.
This project brought together private and group piano students in a way we’ve never done before, and their enthusiasm set the tone for something truly special.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing student‑created illustrations, presentation slides, and performance highlights from this innovative new program.
We couldn’t be prouder of our young musicians who truly dove into this project with such resourcefullness and creativity to try something new.
