Lexington Herald Leader Boys Soccer Preview

Boys soccer 2026: Top Lexington teams, best players and biggest games this year Bryan Station made history last season, but rival Douglass could return to contention with its founding coach back on the sidelines.

Varsity wrapped up the preseason with some social time, pool time, and a team meal. This group has worked hard and had a deserved break from the field this weekend. The attitudes have been great so far as we push to get better everyday. Looking forward to competing in the regular season!

JV capped off their preseason with an intersquad scrimmage (which had to go to penalties to determine a winner) and a team meal afterwards. Well done to these Generals for all the work they’ve put in during preseason! This group has made a lot of progress and we are excited to see how they do in the regular season!

Good first step for our two groups tonight as both win 3-0 against Pulaski County. Lots of positives and lots of things to work on! On to the next!

Game day!!! We try again today, but this time at home! We take on Pulaski County in what will now be our first official preseason scrimmage. JV at 6:30 and varsity 10 minutes after. Ready to hit the field!
