We want to thank Devine Carama and ONE Lexington for the outreach they do in our community! Also a big thank you to Council Woman Emma Curtis for being there with us! This evening we went door to door to get feedback from the neighborhood on how to make Kirklevington Park a place everyone can enjoy! Please take 5 minutes to complete the survey in the pictures below and be placed in a drawing for a $250 gift card to Kroger! Your voice matters!!

What a way to wrap up our One School, One Book experience! 📚🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our Spartans spent the past several weeks reading Ghost by Jason Reynolds together, and on Friday, we brought the story to life with our very own Track & Field Day! Students got to run, compete, cheer each other on, and celebrate everything we experienced through the book.

And of course, no celebration is complete without a sweet finish! Popsicles for the win!

From reading together to running together, we loved seeing our whole school community connect through Ghost. ❤️💙

Both of our Spartan Cross Country teams had fantastic finishes at the Fayette County Public Schools Championship, and all runners met their goal for the final meet! We couldn't be more proud of them! They wrapped up their final practice with a run to DQ!
