Talk about a SWEET surprise!

Last week, on one of those extra hot days, Dr. Alexander decided our Chargers deserved a little something cool!

She rolled up to each classroom in her ice cream truck, music playing and treats ready to go! Every student got a special treat—and the smiles said it all!

And yes… even our middle schoolers were ALL about it! Because you’re never too old for a surprise ice cream break!

Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for making an ordinary hot day extra sweet!

Celebrating Our Chargers! 🎉

The end of the school year was BUSY, and we didn’t get the chance to properly celebrate one of the things we’re most proud of: our students’ hard work and academic success!

We’re giving a well-deserved shoutout to all of our students who earned A Honor Roll and A/B Honor Roll in Quarter 4 of the 2025-2026 School Year!

Your dedication, perseverance, and commitment to doing your best did not go unnoticed. We are so proud of each and every one of you!

Congratulations to all of our Honor Roll students and a HUGE thank-you to the families who helped them get there!

🏐 First win of the season! 🏐

A big congratulations to our Girls Volleyball team on picking up their first win yesterday! We are so proud of these girls and all of the hard work they have been putting in this season.

It’s always exciting to see our students working together, encouraging one another, and representing DCA with pride. We’re proud of this team and can’t wait to cheer them on for the rest of the season!

Ms. Weir’s class kicked off the year with a meaningful activity inspired by I Am Enough by Grace Byers.

After reading the story together, students created self-portraits while talking about what it means to know that you are enough - just as you are.

We love creating a classroom where students feel seen, valued, and confident in who they are. Because every Charger deserves to know: You are enough. You are important. You belong. 💙💛

Fall sports are officially underway at DCA! 🏐⚽

Our Girls Volleyball and Boys Soccer teams hit the court and field today for their first games of the season! We loved seeing our Chargers compete, work together, and represent DCA.

At DCA, we believe every student deserves opportunities to discover their strengths, build confidence, and shine, both in the classroom and beyond. Athletics is just one of the many ways our students can find their place, challenge themselves, and be part of something bigger.

The first day is officially here, Chargers! 💙💛

There’s nothing quite like the excitement of welcoming our students back to campus! We loved seeing our Chargers arrive this morning and kick off a brand-new school year.
