It's the time of year to go backpacking. Troop 282 went hiking and camping to Red River Gorge Rush Ridge the end of September

Troop 282 helped with the Mary Queen Festival on 10-10-2025 in the cossesions, serving Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Pizza.

With the induction of John Schweighardt to the rank of Eagle Scout, Troop 282 is at 81 Eagle Scouts since 1963.

Troop 282 attended summer camp at Camp McKee

This week at summer camp Troop 282, specifically Joe Rolfes, built two camp improvements. A new flag pole and a new bulletin board. Joe did a super job. The funds for these improvements were donated by the Boots family.

Congratulations to Steve Hardman for his District Award of Merit presented to him last May.

Congratulations to John Schweighardt for completing his board of review for the rank of Eagle on Wednesday June 25, 2025. John is the 81 Eagle from Troop 282.
