WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A WELL-BEING CHAMPION?
Who Champions are
Well-Being Champions are a network of employees dedicated to improving the culture of well-being within their college, unit or department. They are an area’s go-to source for information about the programs and services available to help employees thrive in and out of the workplace. Champions are instrumental in carrying out the university’s mission to promote well-being and a sense of community.
What Champions do
Champions contribute to a culture of care through sharing information about well-being resources, then acting upon their knowledge by organizing well-being events that they feel would benefit their colleagues. Their efforts go hand-in-hand with positive change and building community within their college, unit or department.

- Studies show that men are often more likely than women to participate in behavior that puts their health at risk.
24.3% of male deaths in 2018 were caused by heart disease.
