As school starts up for the new school year, I just wanted to share some memories from the summer. We went to BLT at Camp Barstow and enjoyed fun times on the water, and building relationships with Summerville and Chapin HS NJROTC units. Drill camp was a lot of greuling hours learnig our new routines. Leadership academy was a an amazing accomplishment for 5 of our cadets, and I also got to help ship our very own Cadet CMC Gavin Williams from the 2025 class to Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes Il, where he will begin his Navy Career! What an amazing backpacking /camping trip this weekend in Pisgah National park. Looking Glass Falls, and Sliding Rock too! These cadets rocked it! They packed in 2 miles, crossed a river each day in and out of camp. Blessed to be a part of it!
