They say a leader is only as good as their ability to listen—and our chorus proved that! 🎶✨

At Breckinridge Magnet School, our Spring Concert was a beautiful display of our Civic Engagement and Leadership pillars. Each student brought their unique voice to the stage, working in perfect harmony to create something bigger than themselves.

From the solos that showed individual bravery to the ensemble pieces that required teamwork and discipline, these 2nd-5th leaders hit every note! Thank you to our families for being the best “constituents” a young performer could ask for. 👏👏

The future of our community is in very capable hands. 🌎⚖️

Our 4th and 5th graders reached a major milestone in their leadership journey: the Civic Seal Project Showcase. These students didn't just study problems—they engineered solutions. From school-wide sustainability initiatives to community outreach programs, these projects represent months of research, advocacy, and a deep commitment to making a tangible difference.

Earning the Civic Seal is more than an award; it’s a promise to stay engaged, stay informed, and stay active in the world around them. We are so proud of these young leaders for proving that you are never too young to spark a change! 🎖️✨

$2,759.43 reasons to dance! 🕺✨

Our K-5 leaders brought the energy and the heart for our celebration! We officially surpassed our $2,101 goal to support the UK Children’s Hospital, proving that when Breckinridge leaders unite for a cause, big things happen.

Being a leader means serving others, and today, we danced for the kids who are fighting every day. Check out the video to see our students living out our civic mission with every move! 💙🦁

Hello families! This is a reminder that we are doing a Change Wars fundraiser for the remainder of January! The money raised will be going to the University of Kentucky Pediatric Oncology Department. The homeroom class that collects the most change will win a pizza party!
