Grab a friend and get ready to sip, paint, and get to know CDECA at UKY!! We’re serving up dirty sodas and turning tote bags and trucker hats into your newest personalized accessories, because a new year deserves a new look!

Introducing our 2026-27 CDECA at UKY President, Tate Cain! Tate is a sophomore from Clarkson, KY, pursuing a degree in Public Policy, Psychology, Economics. His favorite DECA memory is placing as a finalist at the 2026 CICDC in our home state! Outside of CDECA, Tate is involved in Bridge Kentucky, SGA, APO, College Dems of KY, Involvement Advisor, and Learning Lab Intern! A fun fact about Tate: he has been a classical violinist for eleven years! He joined CDECA to develop the necessary skills to be successful in any career he pursues!

Introducing our 2026-27 CDECA at UKY Chief Vice President, Caedmon Case! Caedmon is a sophomore from Berea, KY, pursuing a degree in Management and Finance. His favorite DECA memory is getting elected to serve on the Kentucky DECA High School Division State Officer Team and going to CICDC for the first time this past year in Louisville, KY. A fun fact about Caedmon: he was a licensed insurance agent before he graduated high school. He joined CDECA to to continue his DECA journey, and to be a part of an international organization that supports future leaders and entrepreneurs.

Introducing our 2026-27 CDECA at UKY Vice President of Marketing, Carolina Keeton! Carolina is a sophomore from West Liberty, KY, pursuing a dual degree in Marketing and Management with minors in International Business and Business Analytics. Her favorite DECA memory is attending the 2026 Awesome Inc (Awesome Inc) Entrepreneurship Summit and getting to network with other student leaders across the commonwealth! Outside of CDECA, Carolina is involved in Alpha Kappa Psi (Alpha-Kappa Psi), Women Business Leaders (Women Business Leaders), CRU (Kentucky Cru) the Lewis Honors College (Lewis Honors College), and currently serves as a Gatton Ambassador (UK Gatton Ambassadors)! A fun fact about Carolina: she works for a wedding and event florist (The Flower Lady | Wedding and Events Florist)! She joined CDECA to because she wanted to continue her involvement in Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs). She previously served as the Kentucky Technology Association (Kentucky TSA) State Secretary, and she felt CDECA was the perfect opportunity to enhance her professionalism, communication, and leadership skills!

Introducing our 2026-27 CDECA at UKY Vice President of Finance, Heli Patel! Heli is a sophomore from Lexington, KY pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Accounting. Her favorite DECA memory was going to ICDC in Louisville. A fun fact about Heli: she did a study abroad in London this summer! She joined CDECA to challenge herself, gain real-world experience, and make new connections!

Introducing our 2026-27 CDECA at UKY Vice President of Hospitality, Angelica Victoria-Garcia! Angelica is a sophomore from Liberty, KY pursuing a degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. Her favorite DECA memory was joining DECA after attending her first meeting with the current Pres, Tate Cain. A fun fact about Angelica: she can play the saxophone! She joined CDECA because she wants to join organizations while in college and have different experiences she did not have in high school!

This kind of excellence doesn’t happen by accident! It’s the result of countless hours of preparation, dedication, and belief in what’s possible. Congratulations, Tate and Jasmin!! You both have made CDECA and the University of Kentucky proud!!! We cannot wait to see what you both accomplish next year!!
