Evergreen Summer Camp is back for 2026: full days outside, hands in the dirt, and curiosity leading the way. No worksheets, no screens, just kids ages 3 to 12 discovering what they’re capable of.

At Evergreen Nature School Summer Camp, children spend their days exploring creeks, climbing trees, building shelters, hiking forest trails, making friends, and creating the kind of summer memories that stay with them for life.

Our fully outdoor camps are designed for ages 3–12 and 13+:
• Nature exploration
• Outdoor skills & adventure
• Creativity & teamwork
• Confidence & resilience
• Water play & movement
• Unplugged childhood fun

Every day is spent outside immersed in nature through hands on exploration, child led play, and meaningful outdoor experiences.

Evergreen Spring Break Camp is four days outdoors exploring Lexington’s most beautiful parks, building confidence, resilience, friendships, and the kind of memories that stay long after the season changes.

From Winter to Spring ❄️🌷

There is a special beauty full of hope and wonder in watching the earth go from deep in sleep to blossoming with life. We are so grateful to witness these changes firsthand.

To feel the cold stillness of winter and then return to the same places weeks later bursting with green. To see tiny buds where there was once ice. To hear birdsong where there was once quiet.

And alongside it all, we watch the children grow too. More confident. More curious. More connected.

This is the gift of learning outside. Season by season. 🌿

What a beautiful season it has been. Snow days that turned into sledding and storytelling. Ice play that sparked curiosity and bravery. Birthday celebrations under open skies.

We have explored the moon and traced the shapes of clouds. We have imagined life in caves and beneath the oceans. We have made crafts with chilly fingers and warm hearts. We have practiced Spanish words in the crisp winter air. We have wandered on countless nature walks and taken field trips that brought our lessons to life.

And through it all, we have built resilience. Being outside in all kinds of weather teaches children that they are capable. That they can feel cold and still play. That they can adapt, problem solve, layer up, move their bodies, and thrive. Confidence grows when children experience the seasons fully instead of watching them from a window.

Childhood is fleeting. These days of muddy boots, rosy cheeks, and wide wonder-filled eyes are sacred. We are so deeply blessed to witness it all and to create memories rooted in real experiences, real friendships, and real connection to the natural world.

Learning happens best when it is lived. And this winter, we have truly been living it 🩵❄️
