Fall and winter are some of the most magical seasons at Evergreen. Crisp mornings, changing leaves, muddy adventures, nature discoveries, and so many opportunities for children to experience the seasons firsthand. We hope to share that magic with even more nature loving families this year.

Sunday reminder 🌿

The moments our kids remember most probably won’t be the perfectly planned ones.

It’ll be the puddle they jumped in, the creek they figured out how to cross, the giant stick they refused to put down, the turtle everyone stopped to watch.

We’re lucky to raise kids in a place like Kentucky, where there is so much childhood waiting right outside the door.

Here’s to slowing down enough to let them find it. 💙

We would love to invite you to join us as we begin another beautiful year of exploring, learning, and growing together in nature. 🌿

At Evergreen Nature School Summer Camp, children spend their days exploring creeks, climbing trees, building shelters, hiking forest trails, making friends, and creating the kind of summer memories that stay with them for life.

Our fully outdoor camps are designed for ages 3–12 and 13+:
• Nature exploration
• Outdoor skills & adventure
• Creativity & teamwork
• Confidence & resilience
• Water play & movement
• Unplugged childhood fun

Every day is spent outside immersed in nature through hands on exploration, child led play, and meaningful outdoor experiences.

There is no force greater than a mother’s love 💕

We are truly rich in life when we have our mothers beside us. A mother’s love heals us when we are sick, gives us strength when we doubt ourselves, protects us when we are afraid, and inspires us to leave this world better than how we found it.

At Evergreen, we see pieces of your love in your children every single day. In their kindness, their resilience, their curiosity, their confidence, and the way they care for the world around them.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our incredible Evergreen moms. Thank you for the endless love, sacrifices, warmth, and magic you pour into your children and into this world. 💐🩵

So much gratitude for our families who showed up and jumped right in with us. There is something incredibly special about children watching their parents care for the same spaces they explore each day.

Together, we filled bags, walked our favorite trails, and left these beautiful parks a little better than we found them. It wasn’t just about cleaning up… it was about showing our children what it looks like to love and care for the world around them.

This is community. This is how it starts.

Thank you for being the kind of families who lead with intention and help us protect the places our children get to call home 🌎🩵

This is what childhood should feel like.

Connection with nature.
Unhurried time to explore.
Watching and living the seasons change right before us.

Field trips that connect children to their community.
Space to engage in risky play with teachers who encourage them while keeping them safe, not restricted.

Days filled with movement in all kinds of weather.
Learning about our earth by being fully immersed in it.
Being exposed to Spanish naturally every single day.

Singing together.
Expressing gratitude every single day for what we have.
Learning how to be true stewards of our earth.

This is where confidence is built.
This is where resilience grows.
This is where childhood actually happens.

Hardship will always be there, but what shapes our children is how they learn to move through it. And nature gives them that space.

Evergreen is more than a school, it’s a childhood experience.
