Next Wednesday Devotion Lodge #160 will host our second annual Grand Junior Warden Forum! Both candidates are scheduled to appear and dinner will be served. One of the most important duties we have as Masons is to investigate those who would be our leaders - as we investigate all new candidates - and prepare the delegates to Grand Lodge for their voting responsibilities. We encourage all delegate representatives of District 20 and all other brothers of the greater Central Kentucky area to please come hear these men speak so we may all be better informed. We cannot record or in any way spread the words directly out of the mouths of the candidates so to avoid summary you have to hear it for yourself.

Dinner will be our smoked pork and chicken and maybe something special from our Steward team 👀.

Mark your calendars. Make arrangements. Be there.

Congratulations to our newest Fellow Craft Masons who were passed tonight to that degree. Additionally, our two other Fellow Craft Masons gave back their proficiencies in great form which were accepted by the Lodge.

The foundation of today’s temple superstructure has officially been laid in the north east corner for the Fork and Knife Degree to be conferred at 530pm prior to the District 20 meeting at the Oleika Shrine. Come see about it!

Devotion Lodge has grown again! This past Monday evening we initiated four more brothers into our humble lodge. We have now initiated 16 brothers in the past 16 months. We look forward to aiding their development into becoming true and faithful brothers amongst us.

Annual Installation of Officers. Masonic Standard time.

Tomorrow, January 8 Devotion Lodge will install its officers for the ensuing year. Please come and join us for this auspicious solemnity. The installation is the only Masonic ritual, save funerals, that are worked publicly so if you have ever been interested in what Freemasonry is or how it is worked, this is an excellent opportunity to come out and see for yourself. We will eat at 6:30 and start the ceremony at 7:30.
