Over the weekend, UK College of Education Dean Nick Pace joined participants in the Run White & Blue 5K and 10K, alongside family and friends of Army Capt. Alan Kurre Elliott. The event was created by Elliott’s widow, Stephanie Elliott (pictured with her children), to honor the life and legacy of her husband, a UK College of Education alumnus who was killed by a hit-and-run driver while running near their home in July 2023.
