With all the extra time we’ve had to be outside (in our own space) over the last few weeks, I’ve noticed the signs of Spring much more than I have in recent years. Sprouts are popping up from the ground, one right after the other. Buds are forming and flowers are blooming all around us. Birds are chirping and sharing the sky all day long.
It is a constant reminder to us that God’s creation is still in motion and He is caring tenderly for each wing and petal, just like He is still caring tenderly for you and for me. {Matthew 6:25-34}
My heart is prompted to realize that nature isn’t worried. Nature is doing what it was created to do- it continuously praises the Creator, it trusts and relies fully on Him, and we are invited to do the same.

We are praying for our families, our nation, our world during this time of uncertainty. In the waiting and wondering, we will be singing this song to remind ourselves- we are children of God. No matter what the circumstances of the day bring, we are free. Free from worry and fear because we have a good Father who will always be working for His glory and our good.

In this season of craziness in our country and in our world, this verse is on repeat over here.
The world is trying to steal the peace that is OURS to claim in Christ. Let’s take it back today! And again tomorrow. Let’s show our kiddos what it looks like to be ruled by peace- what a difference that could make in our homes! 💚
