I don’t always feel like being positive. I don’t always feel like doing the things I KNOW will help me feel better. Sometimes I just want to sit in it.
But God keeps reminding me who I am. He’s given me the strength, the tools, the wisdom, and the discernment to know when I’ve sat in it long enough.
I’m learning that my low moments don’t have to become my identity. I can feel it, honor it, rest, cry and just be quiet.
…and then eventually, I get back up.
And something I’m deeply grateful for is that my pivot period is getting shorter. The gap between feeling disconnected from myself and finding my way back to her is decreasing.
I’m ready to be visible again.
I’m ready to socialize again.
I’m ready to create again.
I’m ready to be in my life again.
Not because I’m positive every day. But because I know who I am, and I know Who reminds me when I forget. 🤍
