We made a super sneaky effort today to catch the leprechaun, but he was like a ninja - agile and smart. He kicked up a fuss, made a mess in the bathroom and, in his rush to make a quick exit through our window, accidentally left behind a money trail.

In a special session, we introduced children to baby chicks, creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. The children sat around a blanket, hand feeding and watching the chicks, which provided a fun and educational experience. As the chicks grow and develop, the children will learn about the importance of caring for animals, and the chickens will supply fresh eggs, learning a sense of responsibility and sustainability. We are eager to see the progress of both the children and chicks.

Some days feel like a blur of snacks, messes, negotiations, and wondering why everything feels harder than it should. And if you’ve ever thought, “Why can’t we just get through the day without a meltdown?” … you’re not alone.
What can help isn't a strict schedule or a perfectly timed day. It was a simple routine. Not rigid. Not Pinterest-perfect. Just predictable enough that my toddler knew what was coming next.
Toddlers don’t need to know the time, they need to know the order. They feel safer when their world makes sense. When transitions are expected. When they aren’t constantly surprised by what’s happening to them instead of with them.
And here’s the part no one talks about: routines don’t work overnight. There will be pushback. Testing. Big feelings. That doesn’t mean it’s failing, it means their brain is learning a new pattern. Consistency is what builds trust.
If your days feel chaotic, it’s not because you’re doing something wrong. It’s because toddlers are still learning how to exist in the world… and routines give them a soft place to land.
Save this for the days you need a reminder that calm is built slowly, not instantly 🤍
