What a fun way to wrap up the school year! ☀️📚

Even though our final week ended up being a short three days, it was filled with lots of fun and great memories for our students!

Monday was hot dogs, nachos & cheese, and movie day.
Tuesday we enjoyed a field trip to the Pink Palace in Memphis.
Wednesday was packed with relay races, laughter, and another movie after lunch to finish out the week.

We are so proud of all of our students and thankful we had the opportunity to celebrate a wonderful year together. The 2025-2026 school year has officially come to a close, and we hope everyone has a safe and blessed summer! ❤️

Last Friday evening, May 15, we had the honor of celebrating our graduates of Lexington Christian Academy for the 2025–2026 school year! 🎓

This year was especially meaningful as we celebrated our two high school graduates, Kierston Wood and Andrea Gammons, who have been part of LCA from the very beginning. These two girls started their school journey with us and finished it with us — side by side as the best of friends. Watching them walk across the stage together was such a memorable and emotional moment. It has been a privilege to watch not only how much they have grown academically, but also spiritually and in their friendship throughout their years at LCA. We are beyond proud of the young women they have become.

We also celebrated our kindergarten graduate, Salem Carias! What an amazing year of growth it has been for him. Watching his progress from beginning to learn letters to now reading fluently at his level has been incredible to witness. We are so proud of all the hard work and growth he has shown this year.

A huge congratulations to all of our Lexington Christian Academy graduates of the 2025–2026 school year! We are excited for all that God has ahead for each of you. 💙

The Free Summer Food Program is now available for sign ups, and all families are welcome to participate. This is a great way to help support your household during the summer months—please don’t hesitate to take advantage of this resource. We hope it is a blessing to you and your family!

Also, the Henderson County Summer Reading Program through our local library will kick off on Friday, May 29th from 12:00–2:00 PM. This is a fun and meaningful way to keep your children engaged and growing in their reading skills all summer long.

We are looking forward to celebrating Kindness Week next week! 💛

Our goal is to “spread kindness like confetti,” allowing it to shine through in every part of our school day and in how we treat one another.

Here’s how we will be participating throughout the week:

Monday – Thank You Day
Students are encouraged to write a thank-you note to someone who helps them at school.

Tuesday – Compliment Day
Take time to give a kind and sincere compliment to a classmate or teacher.

Wednesday – Give a Smile Day
A simple smile can make a big difference—let’s brighten someone’s day!

Thursday – Appreciation Day
Let someone know how much they are truly appreciated.

This will be a casual dress week for students who choose to participate in spreading kindness.

We look forward to a meaningful week as we encourage our students to reflect the love of Christ and shine His light through acts of kindness. ✨

We hope everyone enjoyed a safe, restful, and memorable unexpected two weeks off! ❄️✨ We know it came with lots of extra family time, special moments, and maybe a little cabin fever too.
