The JME Office is closed today, August 5, 2026 due to district training. The office will open tomorrow, August 6, 2026 at 7:15 AM.

Only One More Week! We cannot wait to see our Jaguars! JME Open House is Thursday, August 6 from 4-6 PM. This is an event to meet teachers, administration and other JME families. Mrs. Elam, our transportation director, will be available to answer transportation questions. Jaguar Academy, our afterschool program, will be taking applications. You can find ways to volunteer at JME. Get signed up for events and important communication. Connect with JME PTA!

Feel free to bring your student’s school supplies to Open House. Grade level supply lists are posted on the JME website - under the Families Tab.

FYI - Teacher assignments will be emailed to families the morning of Thursday, August 6.

We are sooo excited and counting the days!

JME Kindergarten Connection Week 2026 is Monday, July 27 - Thursday, July 30, 2026. This orientation will focus on highly engaging activities to foster inclusion and belonging. The Brigance kindergarten screening will happen throughout the week.

We know that attending school for the first time can be overwhelming or scary. As an incoming kindergarten student, we want to make sure that your child has all the necessary tools to have a successful transition to elementary school. During Kindergarten Connection Week, they will learn about what it’s like to attend school every day and get excited for their kindergarten year!

The program is free to attend and lunch is provided. Even if your student can only attend a couple of days, we would love to have them. The program runs from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30, 2026.
There will also be a parent workshop on Wednesday, July 30 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. We are unable to provide bus transportation.
