Two years ago Ms. Vanessa walked through our doors as a parent. At the time, none of us could have imagined the journey that was about to unfold. 🤞

She came to us looking for an opportunity, and started with us as a cleaner. Not long after, she became a floater helping wherever she was needed. She then stepped into the classroom as an assistant teacher. Before long she was leading our babies as the head infant teacher. Over time she worked in every classroom in our center, from the 1-year-olds to the 4-year-olds, loving on those kids and giving them the care and attention they deserve every single day.

But, what makes her story even more special is that while she was pouring into our center, she was also pouring into herself. She went back to school and earned her CDA all while continuing to show up for the kids and the team.

Her dedication, heart, and leadership eventually led her to become Assistant Director, working alongside my wife, Beth Scott and helping lead our center.

Over the last two years I’ve watched her grow from someone just looking for an opportunity… into someone I trust to help lead a vision.

She’s always thanking me for the opportunities she’s been given. But today, I want to say thank you to her.
Thank you for believing in the vision.

Thank you for putting in the work when nobody was watching.

Thank you for loving the kids the way they deserve to be loved.

And thank you for growing with us.

People always say family and friends will be the first ones to believe in you. But the truth is, sometimes they’re the last.
Sometimes it takes one person who started as a stranger to see the vision, believe in it, and help build it.
Because of that trust, tomorrow we open a new childcare center, and she will be stepping into her new role as Director 🙏
I couldn’t be more proud of the journey, the work, and the person she has become.
This moment is well deserved. And this is only the beginning. ✨
