Applications are now open for the 2027 Elizabeth Dayton Award, which provides $500 in support for graduate students specializing in sociolinguistics to attend the LSA Annual Meeting.

Established in 2019, the award recognizes outstanding scholastic achievement and helps cover registration, travel, and lodging expenses.

Abstract submissions are now open for current and prospective LSA members for , taking place in-person in San Francisco, January 6-9, 2027! This includes general, five-minute linguist, and LEXING submissions.

Presentations based on accepted abstracts will be eligible for submission to the peer-reviewed 2027 Proceedings of the Linguistic Society of America.
