Today some of our preschoolers got to learn about the Mid-Autumn Festival. This festival is celebrated in the Chinese culture and is also known as the moon festival or moon cake festival. It celebrates the autumn harvest, family reunions and giving thanks under the brightest moon of the year. Miss Janet came today and read a story, did a special activity with the friends and shared some wonderful snacks. Many thanks to Janet for coming in and teaching our friends and staff about a special tradition today. Everyone had so much fun learning with you!
