Please join us on Saturday April 11 for an open house marking the end of the museum’s 50th anniversary celebration!

Visit exhibitions that examine the museum’s collection over the past 50 years and Lexington’s role in the American Revolution, see a replica of the cannon Henry Knox brought from Ticonderoga to Dorchester on loan from the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, welcome ultra runner Patrick Atkinson as he arrives in Lexington at the conclusion of his 333-mile Revolutionary Run from Delaware to Massachusetts, witness the burial of a time capsule for 2075, and more.

The Children’s Dyslexia Centers of Lehigh Valley’s Board of Governors raised over $20,000 at this year’s fundraising Gala! Guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner and an impressive selection of silent auction items featuring signed Philadelphia Eagles jerseys, sports memorabilia, gift cards, themed baskets and so much more.
The evening honored, R.W. Deputy Grand Master (at the time) Robert Brink, who shared meaningful remarks about the Masons and the ideals that inspired the founding of the center.
Guests also were moved by a powerful success story from a parent and her son – now a graduate of the center and thriving at a local college.
Thank you to everyone who made this night possible. Your support and commitment are truly appreciated.

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤: 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐬
Before the holiday break, the Southern Illinois Children’s Dyslexia Center hosted their first “Undecorate The Tree” fundraiser, where families were able to select ornaments from the Holiday tree that featured items that are frequently used within the center and donate those supplies. A select few ornaments displayed a Venmo QR code to contribute a general donation.

We would like to thank the families and staff for their generosity and for pulling the event together, the center is incredibly thankful and proud of the fundraiser’s success and how it pulled the Southern Illinois CDC community together.
