Today is the first snowy day of the season for us here at Community Nursery School! Joy could be heard and felt amongst the children and teachers this morning with the first falling snowflakes, and again when doors opened to the outside for all to enjoy!

We are entering our 81st magical winter season here at CNS thanks to the continuous support of our incredible community. We'd love for you to remember CNS if you're looking to make contributions on this Giving Tuesday. We are grateful for all of the support that our families have provided throughout the past eight decades!

🎨🚛🤖🧸 Toddlers! We have a group for you!

CNS’s Toddler/Caregiver Playgroup invites children who are 24-36 months old to come to CNS with a parent or caregiver. Toddlers participate in a nurturing school setting and interact with other children, while parents and caregivers have a chance to meet and become familiar with the cooperative in our beautiful, light-filled studio classroom.

Led by Heather Hauser, CNS Yoga and Movement Teacher and All-School Curriculum Consultant, the weekly program includes imaginative play and sensory-rich activities that encourage children to explore, interact, and follow their natural curiosity. Each session will incorporate open free play, storytelling, sensory and art explorations, and creative movement/yoga.

The toddler playgroup class will take place in the Green Door at CNS from 9:30-11am. For more information, please email Heather at [email protected]

💙🍎💛 Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!! We love love love our wonderful CNS teachers and staff! Our CNS tradition is to treat our teachers to a lovely catered meal together 💕 Big thanks to our parent volunteers for coordinating, setting up, and decorating so our teachers could enjoy some special time together!
