Throwback Thursday! For 60 years, Meadow Breeze Camp has served children and families all throughout the Boston Area, offering programs designed for kids entering K–8th grade. From the very beginning, Meadow Breeze has been a fun and safe place for kids to spend their summer days with activities created to serve each specific age group.

Here’s to six decades of swimming, rock climbing, arts and crafts, archery, friendship, laughter, and so much more. We’re so thankful to all of our families who have trusted us with their campers each summer. Meadow Breeze isn’t the same without you.

Wacky Friday 🤪💫 Week 7 of camp at Meadow Breeze was WILD! ☀️

Throwback Thursday! Among our greatest highlights at Meadow Breeze are the pool and rock wall. Our pool begins shallow and reaches depths of up to 6 feet. It began as a place for Lexington Christian Academy’s pool club to practice before becoming a major part of everyday camp life. Today, it continues to serve as a space where campers can grow and develop their swimming skills under the guidance of American Red Cross-certified lifeguards, as well as cool off and have fun on hot summer days.

Our rock wall is another major highlight of Meadow Breeze. Spanning over 20 feet high and around 70 feet wide, this massive project began construction in 2001 before being fully realized around 2004. Before then, a much smaller climbing wall served campers on the opposite side of the gym, both of which were constructed and overseen by LCA Visual Arts Faculty Chip VanderBrug

Throwback Thursday! For years, our Launch Trips program has invited students to “launch” from our regular Meadow Breeze Camp schedule. Each day, campers get the opportunity to explore various locations throughout the Boston area and participate in a wide range of adventurous activities.

Session adventures include: Biking on a Rail Trail, Boda Borg, Paddle Boarding, Indoor Rock Climbing, Surfing & Beach Day, Indoor Skydiving, Sea Kayaking, Fencing, River Canoe Trip, Whale Watching, and much more!

Throwback Thursday! 60 years ago, Meadow Breeze Day Camp opened in the summer of 1966, and has operated every summer since then, except during the pandemic-impacted summer of 2020.

Today, Meadow Breeze is a program designed for kids entering K–8th grade. It is a fun and safe way for kids to spend their summer days with activities created to serve each specific age group. Campers have the opportunity to be a part of a variety of activities, such as: archery, music, swimming, drama, tennis, arts & crafts, indoor/outdoor sports and rockwall climbing!
