Family Fun Night is TWO weeks away!
Please join us to celebrate the magic of reading at our annual storybook night! School doors will open at 6:00pm for an enchanting evening full of book themed fun, activities, treats, and excitement!
• Children and families are encouraged to dress up as their favorite storybook character!
• PTO will be in front of the library to welcome guests with a map of all the stops on your adventure, kids who complete their map by collecting all the stamps can come find our treasure chest and enter a raffle drawing for more prizes. Hint: X marks the spot! The raffle drawing will take place during Midway’s Morning News Show at school the following week; prizes will be given to the children’s homeroom teacher to be sent home.
• Bring gently used children’s books for our Little Free Library book exchange and leave with a new-to-you book! Don’t have any to donate? That’s fine! Any child that wants a book from our Little Free Library is welcome to have one while supplies last.
• Special guest mystery readers will be reading stories in our library, Lexington County Library will be here to renew or register new memberships, and Big Air will also be joining us to share their reading program!
• Before you leave stop by one of our food trucks for dinner, dessert, or both! Each vendor has generously offered to give back a portion of sales to Midway PTO, so your dinner plans can help support our organization!
• Deadline for Bronze, Silver, and Gold Level sponsors for this event is Monday, October 5th, so if you’re considering sponsorship please email us asap. Platinum sponsor deadline has passed, and the yard signs are in production, but if you’d like to be a Platinum sponsor please reach out so we can make other arrangements.
