This course is perfect for college students in and around the Winston-Salem area. You can complete the course this spring and have an opportunity for employment immediately following class! Medical Track students who need clinical hours will be able to start accruing them immediately after class.

Class begins September 12, 2026! We will take registrations through September 13, 2026, or until the class is full.

After September 13, 2026, registrations will be accepted only on a case-by-case basis.

Yesterday, the EMS community lost the man behind Paramedics on Facebook, John Osborn.

A longtime paramedic, educator, and one of EMS's most influential voices on social media, John created a community where EMS professionals could connect, learn, and support one another.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.

Randolph Mantooth, Firefighter-Paramedic Johnny Gage on ‘Emergency!,’ Dies at 80 He partnered with real-life pal Kevin Tighe (Roy DeSoto) on the popular NBC series, then did lots of soap operas.

With heavy hearts we pray for the family of Chief Goins and the members of Thomasville Rescue. This is an unexpected loss and a heavy blow to a community close to our hearts (and homes). We ask that our followers please keep this community and the family in your thoughts and prayers. They will need all the support they can get in the times to come.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our Chief, Rusty Goins. Chief Goins succumbed to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident last week. Funeral arrangements will be shared upon completion. Please keep his wife Renee and their family in your thoughts and prayers. Rusty Goins
